PARIS, KENTUCKY, (December 15, 2009) —Employees from Toyota Motor Manufacturing, Kentucky, Inc. (TMMK) were given a tour of Wesley’s Place following a $10,000 check presentation in Paris today. The donation has been used toward the construction of the multi-purpose facility which will provide office space for non-profit organizations fostering successful community outreach programs.
Since arriving in Kentucky in 1987, Toyota Motor Manufacturing, Kentucky, Inc. (TMMK) has donated about $37 million in sponsorships and contributions to Kentucky’s non-profit organizations.
TMMK is Toyota’s largest plant in North America employing about 6,900 team members with the annual capacity to produce 500,000 engines and vehicles including the Camry, Camry Hybrid, Avalon, and the Venza.
