Toyota Motor Manufacturing, Kentucky, Inc. (TMMK) is pleased to offer a limited number of field trip grants to offset the cost of transportation to Toyota's Environmental Education Center | Nature Trail in Georgetown. This program supports Toyota's commitment to education and is primarily designed to promote hands-on learning about the environment.

Field trips to Toyota's Environmental Education Center | Nature Trail are offered:
A maximum of 32 participants can be scheduled per guided tour. Groups larger than 32 can be accommodated by dividing into more than one tour time. No less than one adult for every fifteen students is required.
Reimbursements are available up to $300. These funds can be used only for transportation-related expenses including mileage, driver's fees and insurance.
Grades 4th – 12th; Private, Public, and Home Schools

Visiting schools are encouraged to utilize Toyota's environmental curriculum in conjunction with the field trip. Applicants that identify a plan to utilize this curriculum in pre- and post- visit activities will be given priority consideration for funding.
All reimbursements are issued through the Kentucky Environmental Education Council following a group's field trip to the Toyota Environmental Education Center | Nature Trail.
All applications must be fully completed and submitted electronically. Incomplete applications will not be reviewed.
Applications are valid for one school year, beginning in July and continuing through May of the following calendar year.
If you are planning a fall field trip, your application must be received by September 5, 2014. For spring, applications must be received by February 13, 2015. All applicants will be notified within three weeks following the application deadline.
Please note: Tours of TMMK's manufacturing facility are also available and recommended; if you plan to schedule both the nature trail and manufacturing tour, it is strongly encouraged to make reservations in advance by calling the Toyota Visitor Center at 1-800-866-4485.
